Finance Manager 

Consumer Lending / Operations in Spain

Your key role will be to
  • • Managing and overseeing the local accounting, controlling, tax as well as financial and liquidity management including the management of the local accounting function.
  • • Preparing monthly management reporting, quarterly forecasts, and the annual budget in collaboration with the local management team and Group Finance
  • • Leading the annual year-end closing and financial audit in cooperation with Group Finance and local auditors
  • • Conducting business case analyses to inform decisions for both the local management team as well as Group Finance; providing support to other local functions as a Finance business partner

We expect from you
  • • Minimum bachelor degree in accounting / finance or related fields; relevant master’s degree is considered a plus
  • • Minimum 4 years’ experience in either advisory/consulting, audit, controlling, accounting, banking or related sectors
  • • Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
  • • Initial leadership and team management experience and strong team-working skills
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve business and finance-related questions
  • • Strong financial modelling and presentation drafting skills
  • • Proficient user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word; SQL and VBA skills and experience in Microsoft ERP are a plus
  • • Business-oriented approach and commitment to making strategic decisions. Demonstrated ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data analysis. This implies excellent analytical skills coupled with a keen understanding of business metrics and the ability to convert data into actionable insights
  • • Pro-active approach, strong communication skills and the ability to work within an international matrix structure
