We are looking for a

Junior Software Developer

We are looking for a young brave lad or lass to join our team of adventurers. You will be a part of a small team working in multi-regional company originating from Latvia, which HQ is currently located in Warsaw. We are responsible for making awesome sale pages for our products and we are supporting our colleagues in Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic and even Mexico in their marketing endeavors.

Your key role will be to

  • Maintaining existing WordPress websites by updating their themes, functionality and content
  • Creating new WordPress instances in a hosted environment
  • Optimization and editing the HTML code
  • Troubleshooting errors reported via Jira ticket system
  • Creating bulletproof email templates
  • Analyzing the process with external tools like Analytics as well as with the data from our CRM

We expect from you

  • Experience in managing WordPress sites
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in HTML / CSS / SCSS
  • Understanding of PHP
    Basic knowledge of JS / jquery
  • Knowing how version control works (Git)
  • Willingness to learn how things work under the hood (log browsing, testing)
  • Ability to RTFM
  • Very good communication skills and fluency in English and Polish (both verbal and manual)

Bonus points for

  • Familiarity with creating wiki pages
  • Linux 101
  • WordPress themes adaptations experience
  • Sense of humor
